Web speed in Japan

One thing I was surprised at coming to Europe is the internet speed is slower than in Japan. I thoughts most of European countries have a high-bandwidth network which should be higher than in Asia. I lived in France. The web speed was so slow that I stopped to download a movie my friend in Japan sent to me. My understanding to developed countries was not correct.

Since I love Korea, I was used to go 2-3 times in a year. I’ve never had any stress when I worked or stayed in South Korea. Web-based game is so popular in S.Korea that they need high-speed internet. When you launch your business, you need to consider the internet penetration, web-speed and mobile usage.

Look at the data as below! Japan is the 2nd highest web speed all over the world, but it’s still huge behind S.Korea.
